(1) Environmental friendliness: Water-based coatings use water instead of organic solvents as diluents, therefore they do not contain toxic chemicals. (Previously, the dispersion medium was organic solvents, which contain toxic substances. Complete evaporation takes at least several decades, significantly impacting the intellectual development of infants and unborn children. “Free TDI” also poses a carcinogenic risk.)
(2) Reduced fire risk: In contrast to the flammability of solvent-based products, water-based products are non-flammable and fire-resistant, effectively reducing the occurrence of fires.
(3) Characteristics of water-based coatings after film formation: They have extremely high adhesion to the substrate. The cured film exhibits excellent corrosion resistance and chemical resistance, low shrinkage, high hardness, good wear resistance, excellent corrosion resistance, and excellent electrical insulation properties.
(4) High water-absorbing resin (water-retaining agent) series, effectively retaining moisture.
